Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon is one of my favorite spots in Utah. I have never seen anything like it and it always amazes me when I go there. Heather has never been so we went down there at the end of February. We are planning on going again in the summer when you can hike down into the canyon. Do you see a theme here (hike, hike, hike) I am such an outdoors person.

If you ever get the chance to be in Utah. This is one place you should go see.

While down in Sothern Utah for Skyler’s Wedding I took a hike up around St George. Here are some of the pictures from the hike.

Grotto

Heather and I went for a hike to the Grotto way back in June of ’11. Heather doesn’t reckon it was a hike but she is wrong. We walked on dirt, crossed a river, aka a hike.

Skyler and Jessie’s Wedding

Skyler married Jessie on March 18th in Las Vegas. I have yet to see the official pictures so here are some of the pictures I took outside the Chapel (We were not allowed to take pictures on their property)

Christmas

This is one of the gifts Heather gave me for Christmas. Just a little flag so the neighbourhood knows where I am from. Because the car may not be enough.

Less punctures

These are my new Kevlar lined tyres. They are Origin Elimin-8er tyres. They are not going to ride as nice or as fast as the Pro Race 3 but they should resist punctures far better, which you need this time of year. I picked them up for $29.99 a tyre. Hoping to get my first ride on them today. Supposed to be 48F today.

East Canyon

Late November I took a couple of hours and went for a ride on one of my favorite drives. Emigration Canyon then over East Canyon and onto Morgan. It’s a great drive and the scenery is beautiful. It was a little cold that day but that’s why the car has the roof. The drive is right on the edge of Salt Lake.

I timed it just right to capture the colours changing. Click on the image for more pictures.

To go along with my expert cooking skills I have now become a baker. I made roughly 4lbs of bread pudding this weekend. Tastes as good as it looks.
